Perspective
Copper Leife has collaborated in the success of many titles for educational and trade publishing spanning a diverse range of subjects. We count it a great privilege to be involved in an industry that disseminates knowledge via so traditional a form as the printed page. Yet, over the years we have grown alongside remarkable, fast-paced changes throughout the industry, such as the move away from photographic transparencies and prints toward digital media. Our work practices have been adapted to take advantage of the potential gains in efficiency that such technology brings, and we constantly seek to improve our level of technical expertise.

APACA
We were involved in the formation of APACA, the Australian Picture and Copyright Association, and we continue to play an active role. We feel that technological change must be matched with the means of improving interpersonal and industry networks. We will continue to help promote industry standards and professional development.

Environmental footprint
We are passionate about reducing the impact of our activities upon the planet, and are constantly seeking ways of lowering our energy and resource consumption. In fact, we are very proud of our low greenhouse emissions bill. We use renewably generated 'green' electricity; we duplex-print on recycled paper whenever possible; and we have offset all vehicle travel and additional energy consumption on our premises by participating in the Greenfleet tree-planting program. We are also actively involved with the Koonwarra Sustainable Communities Centre, a nucleus for grass-roots cultural change.
